Jake is the American Dragon. His duty is to protect all the magical creatures and the humans of New York City. He is trained by his grandfather who is the Chinese Dragon. His grandfather came to America to train Jake. Jake's sister is also a dragon and while she has dragon blood in her, Jake's mother can't transform into a dragon. Jake's enemies are the Huntsclan, the Black Dragon, trolls, etc. The Dark Dragon still lives on and humans and magical creatures must work together to beat the Dark Dragon.
